Account and Data Deletion
1. App
path-to-one (Japanese title: 呪われた数の迷宮; iOS / Android; Android package name: com.cursedlabyrinth.app)
Developer: Fuji Bit Inc.
This page explains how to delete the account created for the App's "Weekly Challenge" feature (a Firebase anonymous authentication account, and its link to an Apple ID / Google account if you linked one) and the related data. If you have never joined the weekly ranking, none of your data is stored on our servers.
2. Delete in the App (recommended)
- Open the App and tap "Weekly Challenge" on the title screen.
- Open "Account".
- Tap "Delete account".
- Confirm with "Delete". If your account is linked to an Apple ID, you will be asked to sign in with Apple again so the Apple link can be revoked.
Deletion is carried out immediately on our server (Cloud Functions), after which the App returns to the not-joined state. This cannot be undone.
3. What is deleted
- Your nickname
- Your weekly ranking records (all weeks: score, rank, whether you cleared, number of attempts, the week's start number, etc.)
- Apple ID / Google account link information (the account identifier, email address, etc. recorded in Firebase Authentication)
- Your Firebase account (anonymous authentication ID)
- Your ID and nickname in weekly champion records: if you ever finished a week in 1st place, your anonymous authentication ID and nickname are erased from the champion records (rankingWeeks / rankingChoices), so "Chosen by (your nickname)" is no longer shown
If your account was linked to an Apple ID, the Sign in with Apple token is also revoked (the App is removed from "Apps Using Apple ID" for your Apple ID).
4. What is not deleted
- On-device data: adventure records, achievements, grimoire, curse marks, settings and similar data are stored only on your device and remain after you delete your account. They are erased when you delete (uninstall) the App.
- Purchases: "Remove Ads", "Unlock Number Input" and "Overlord Build" are managed by the App Store / Google Play and are not affected by deleting your account. You can still restore them with "Restore Purchases".
- Numbers you chose as the weekly champion: a number you chose stays as that week's shared puzzle for every player, without your nickname or ID.
- Advertising information: we do not hold the information collected by Pangle. See section 6 below.
Uninstalling the App alone does not delete your weekly ranking data on the server. If you also want your records removed from the ranking, delete your account using the steps in section 2 before uninstalling.
5. If you cannot delete in the App (request by email)
If you have already deleted the App, lost your device, or keep getting an error when deleting in the App, you can request deletion by email.
- Send an email with the subject "Account deletion request — path-to-one" to support@fujibit.com.
- Include the nickname you used in the weekly ranking. To identify your records, we may ask for the approximate period (weeks) you took part and, if linked, the email address of your Apple ID / Google account.
- Once confirmed, we will delete the data listed in section 3 within 30 days and notify you when it is done.
6. Advertising (Pangle) data
We do not hold the information collected by Pangle for ad delivery (such as advertising identifiers), so we cannot delete it. Please send deletion and other requests to the contact listed in the Pangle End User Data Privacy Policy. For how to reset your advertising identifier or stop personalized ads, see the Privacy Policy.
7. Options short of deletion
- You can change your nickname on the "Account" screen in the Weekly Challenge.
- "Unlink" removes only the link to your Apple ID / Google account while keeping your records.
For a list of the information we handle and how to request access or correction, see Personal Data Handling.
